Well my mate dropped around tonight with his flsah laptop and we figured out how to link my gear into it and used his mixing softwarer to do a recordimg over a backing track.

Oh how far things have come since my old Yamaha MT4X !
I Gotta get some of this stuff !

Here's me and the Silo doing the first couple of mins of Glasgow Kisss.

Unfortunately we sunk a fair nuymber of beverages while working it out and it's now 12:36am, so excuse the sloppiness !

Don't know why you would regret that - thats some pretty fine playing...

It's my stock Silo (vituall PAFS) straight into a SansAmp PSA-1 with my old Alesis Quadraverb2 in the effects loop for a little delay for this track.
(my dusty old gear from gigging days many years ago)

I wish mate. I'm married with kids, remember ?!?!
Gone are the days where I could rip a solo, take a screamer or flex an arm and drop her pants.
Cooking dinner, or doing a bit of work around the house seems to work pretty well these days

Yep, I'm onto that - looking for a H&K Red Box Pro.

Based on tech articles and reviews of the PSA-1 I was actually surprised that it wasn't fizzier without a cab emulator ??

(But I'll take a PSA-1 over a POD any day)

Can anyone recommend a good emulator or give tone opinions ?
