So after checking out a few silos (HSS) and a y2d I can honestly say I am torn between the 2. Damn you Poppa for making amazing instruments. Deciding is the hardest part

Hah, yes ... both rather than vs :)

They are quite different though. Sonically and feel. So that should help narrow it down.

I am in the same boat with a few EBMM guitars... I feel you. I am most likely going with a Silo Spec because of the ability to have several pickguards (SSS, HSS or HH) and the ability to switch them out to get the sound Im looking for. It is all about complimenting what you already have and then building on it... hope that helps a little.

The Morse guitar is what I would get. I appreciate all the aspects of his design including wood, pickups, looks and dimensional configuration of neck and body. Good luck. Show us 'The One' =)

morse is what i would go with, but the best option is both! :) but its all about how comfy the guitar is/what feel and sound you want, i always love the neck on my morse and have tried multiple models of EB guitars but im hooked to the design on SM sig, let alone i don't find my self wanting to have a guitar with contours, some do some don't.

Do you mean a Silo Special or a Silo?

Back in 2006, I had the opportunity to try out a Y2D, a Silo Spec, and a 20th Anniversary Silo.

I picked the 20th, but I loved the other two. Let me tell you the Y2D just sings under high gain. So did the others, but man, that Y2D is special too. I would say pick one for now, and then get the other one sometime down the road after you've saved up yet again.
