Browsing through this months UK Guitar and Bass magazine. In the regular vintage collectors feature this month the collector has a few silos which is not suprising at all apart from three of them are have a dayglow finish ?? one yellow one red and one green (i think I have the colors right) they also feature some sort of dragon emblem on them.Does anyone know anything about these guitars? Also in this Months Guitarist mag there is a competition to win a 20th anniversary silo (presumablly the review model from last month)....Someone's going to get a nice Christmas present.

Every month, I read UK Guitar and Bass magazine (not easy to find in Paris ...).
The guy featured in the article is incredible : he has a truck load of guitars (F..., G..., PRS and of course MusicMan).

THIS GUY HAS 44 MUSIC MAN SILHOUETTES !!!!

Here is an extract of this article :

Next we move on to another love in Sid's life - Music Man Silhouettes. Sid currently has no less than 44 of these guitars! 'Yes, it's sad I suppose, but these guitars really appeal to me,' he enthuses. 'They've got both individuality and familiarity and have exceptional playability, sound and construction, so it's no wonder I've played this model professionally. Also, I really like the four-plus-two headstock !'
'The Yellow, Blue and Pink "Eagles" in Ernie Ball string packet colours are among the best, and the only ones in the country. I first saw them at a British trade show in '88. I bought the Blue version, and a few years later I received two phone calls on the same day offering me the Pink an Yellow ones. I bankrupted myself and bought both !
'This Black one is serial number 86006, the sixth made in '86, the first year of manufacture. For me, this is like owning the sixth Strat or Les Paul. The there's this one, built from some of my many parts with a figured one-piece ash body from '89 and also this blue '89, one of only two in this colour'.

Hey Sid, are you lurking on this forum
