Anyone seen anything like that before? Has it been highly modded or did bridges and (locking nut? string tree?)s come standard at one point?

That's one of the earliest Silhouettes - definitely dating from the mid-80s... The early ones had Schaller locking trem hardware - I guess EBMM didn't want to fork out the $$$ for a Floyd license early on, so they adopted the Schaller trem, but you could still get a Floyd special order... The original pickups on this guitar were Schallers, as well...

Nice looking guitar although the seller seems a bit misinformed calling the original Silhouette not the less expensive Silhouette Special.

Too bad she who must be obeyed won't let me spend any more money on guitars.

That one is really nice too! I have to stop looking at these Silos for sale - its getting painful.
