I have a 90 6 bolt Silo.Sometimes looking at the pics on the forum,I feel like changing its colour. But its twenty years old in May and despite nicks and dings I dont like to do unreversable mods to it.Other then pickguards/pups I have never seen bodies or necks for these old EBMMs for sale. Can new bodies be bought from EBMM ,Warmouth etc? If so how much are they? Are Sterling parts interchangable(I know they are 5 bolts) ?I hav'nt settled on a colour yet. Here it is and in Tele guise.

I think we'll all be chiming in with ditto marks on that.
My understanding is that usually EBMM would probably provide a new body in exchange for the old one in the original colour.....but no idea if this extends to guitars they no longer manufacture.Warmoth would probably manufacture a custom body if you sent them yours to copy, but the cost would no doubt be prohibitive. I doubt if any other body would bolt on
As everyone else will say, either keep it or sell it and buy something you prefer...don't hurt it....personally if I were right handed I'd be begging you to sell it to me....it's gorgeous.

I'm keeping it.I sold it once and was lucky to buy it back(I should have kept my 89 Blueburst too).I dont want to paint this body, maybe i'll just buy another Silo again.
