I'm curious, why no Silo Special BFR? Such a great guitar, it would benefit from the the tone block and other BFR refinements no?

This was brought up several times already (by me as well :D). And BP said it will happen eventually! They will be doing the BFR series of all the instruments at some point. Just gotta wait and see, and watch all the other cool things that they come up with until the day of the BFR Silo Special hehe :).

DAMN! Thanks Roubster -- Good news and bad: I'm starting to hate EBMM!! I want at least 4 different models!! A 25th, an ASS BFR, a Silo Special BFR and an AL BFR. Divorce imminent.

Edit: If BP and crew make a Silo Special BFR please please please include the piezo. :)

BP has said that the 20th was the first BFR....and don't forget the Gold Roller!!

yeah, but those are versions of the 24 fret "standard" Silhouette... I think people are looking for a 22 fret BFR Silo Spec... However, with all the cool stuff BP has already confirmed for Winter NAMM I think I need more time on a BFR Silo Spec... 2010 is already going to be an expensive year for me... haha

Taking advantage of the BFR all-rosewood neck option offered Nov-Dec '08 made any instrument a BFR. Rob has a Silo Special BFR w/ all rosewood neck.

There has not been a specific (uniquely available to) Silo Special BFR yet...

No problem!

No, the rosewood neck guitars didn't necessarily come with a tone block, that isn't what makes a BFR a BFR. The BFRs are instruments with some extra special options or colors, like an all-rosewood neck, or gold hardware with a koa top on a mahogany body and neck. The BFRs are whatever EBMM wants them to be.

I can say my BFR silo Special sounds unique, much nicer than the standard one! Cannot beat that rosewood neck, a great addition to the silo special.

I would imagine it tames (maybe not the best word) the SC pups a bit in a pleasing way.

I would punch a baby to get an Alder Body White Silo with a mahogany Tone Block and a Rosewood neck and Birdseye Maple Fretboard with Dunlop 6000 Frets and Direct Mounted Dimarzios and Trem. Or at least a Silo Special BFR!
