Just made some recording for a guy here in NY with my silo special with installed Transitions pups, Luke guitar pups, and it has to be the best recording I ever made, 20 years of making records, I have a duncan distortion in one and a Dimarzio super distortion In the other but the Transition is so clean precise and tight it records unbelievably, sounds good clean, crunched and for overdriven leads, Ill post some clips when I get them back but now I see why everyone goes so crazy for the Luke IIIs...and lets face it the good ol silo special is a kickass guitar as well lol...
