If you own both models which one do you prefer and why?

-thanks

Um, well, a month ago I would have told you my rosewood board, hands down and no contest. But that’s changing. They do sound quite different so it really depends on which would meet your requirements.

My rosewood Sil. Sp. is warmer, fatter, chunkier, bluesier. The maple board is brighter sounding, more twang and snap, and more articulate. Can’t rightly say I prefer either one at this point. That’s why I have both. If I had to give one up, I think it would have to be the maple board, even though to my eyes it’s prettier.

Either way, the Sil Spec is an awesome guitar.
