Hi bros,

I had a discussion with someone who (thinks he) knows a lot ;)

It was about what I would possibly trade my ASS for, and I said maybe only for something that has not yet seen the light of the world, like e.g. a Silo Special with an all roswewood neck/headstock. And that guy insisted that this has already happened as an LE some years ago....but I don't find any traces of such a thing :(

Does anybody know?

Silo Specials with all-rosewood necks have indeed seen the light of day...when the BFR Rosewood neck option was available several guys ordered Silo Specs, I'm quite sure it won't take too long before someone will hepl out with a pic or two...!

He ordered it during the "All Rosewood" window ordering Search this forum you will see some picture of it

It was a hard decision! I prefer the usual maple neck , or maple with rosewood board, for the AL, little more twang, not into the darker rock tones. So a RW neck AL wasnt really on the cards, but a RW neck Silo was, and I do still use it for gigs where I need a humbucker- I have a 2nd pickguard for it that I got from Glenn with HSS. But I love the MM90's so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's true about the dark sound and all rosewood neck. That Neck really goes well with my Piezo ASS. A rock Machine

And true for me as well that the AL MM90 is still my favorite guitar

Wow that Silo Special is amazing. SO I wonder how many total there are floating around out there.
