Silo trem - floating?

can the Silhouette Special trem set to be floating, or is it designed for down trem only? The one I just bought has it for down only. Looks like you could raise the bridge and lower the saddles, but you might have the tops of the saddle screws sticking up. Anybody done this?

Take 1 spring out and set it up like a LUKE. Info on Luke setup is in the FAQ section.
