It's basically a baritone guitar. It can be tuned pretty much how you like, but the factory sens them tuned A(below E on a six string guitar)-a. Thats A-a. Not sure what the other tunings are. Dunno if you're into Dream Theater but John Petrucci uses one a fair bit. Most notably on the albums SIx Degrees of Inner Turbulance and Octivarium. Check out these vids:

They offer the Silo set to two different tunings, E-e and A-a.

I know Joe Perry has used one before.

I really love the sound of a baritone guitar and if I was going for one it would be an EB one (obviously)

or wait for the JP signature one :D

You could do both. I'm not 100% sure if JP just puts through his main rig or not but I have seen some bass players use them.

Well, I have a baritone guitar, and it's a 27" scale neck. So when I saw this one at 29" scale, I got confused... Isnt' that really long???
