Hb/Sc/Hb Silhouette trans teal Nr 95066 recessed neckplate


Few questions:

What kind of wood was used with the colour Trans teal (ash I think looking at the grain)??

DOB: ???

Price w /case condition 1- (one littel belt buckle scar on back)??

Yes I do. The picture is on page 24 or 25 of the picture thread. That guitar is my green monster and rocks like none other. I promised it to darrell (dwf) when I die unless he kills me. It's ash. That's the only EBMM I have bought used and it was very dirty when I got it. It had seen a lot of love, ridden hard and put up wet. I really enjoyed restoring it myself and I hope to do a total refinish on it some day. But for now it rawks so good

I consider putting a konman SC in the middle since I have them in all of my SC guitars.

What part of the country are you in Mick? That sounds a "lot" like one of my old Silo's. Actually a lot like one I wish I had back. Is the bridge pup stock, or has it been changed out?

The pickup and everything is dead stock and it sounds great.

I live in the part of the country which is called Germany /Europe, sorry dude.
Can´t be your guitar , keep on searching.
I think Norm has it since they keep on producing the silo only for him

Just set it up and gave the neck some birchwood casey sucking and this b***** is loud wow. ash is a very in your face wood.
Have a gig tomorrow and will take her out for the first time.

I ´ve played it live on Saturday for the first time and it sounds great. So if it were your guitar I could not give it back to you anyway


Question for all Siloboys out there:

In the in between positions of the 5 way the PAFpro are splitted,

1. why doesnt it hum? Is the Sincle coil in the middle reverse wound??
2. these positions sound a little thin well at least the Bridge and SC together. I tried to adjust the height a little but found no real sweet spot.
Your recommondations.
3. Change the bridge PAF to a Tone Zone or something similar??
