I have happily been playiing my silsp[s s hb ],rosewood,for the past 6 years.A gas attack is impending,and the luke looks great.How do the 2 compare...the single coils,the hb*s,the neck..vibe..all inputs are appreciated.

ok ive owned both so here goes.

Luke neck is much more of a V compared to the silo, but i probably prefer the silo neck, its great.

Luke's single coil pickups are very quiet and easy to get great tones out of, the silo special single coils are of course passive so you have to work just a little bit harder, but the results are probably more worth it, you get a more raw attacking vibe which i personally like.

luke seems to be made with a little bit more love than a silo, but im bias
plus i think a Luke is more versitile than a silo to!!!

They are a little hard to compare. The Luke is indeed magic, we just got one in here and plays itself. Glassy tone, slick neck (LOVE the neck) and the Luke Blue is super cool. The silosp is everything a str@t wishes it was. Ours is probably the nicest burst I've seen on this style guitar and the pups are nice and quiet.
