Well, I played the GP single H at last night's gig.
I felt sorry for the BC HH Bongo because the only time I picked it up last night was when I tuned it before the show.
The other thing I want to mention is that it will keep the Slinkys on it. The rest of the guys in the band really liked the sound of the round wounds. I used to play them all the time but changed over to flats about two years ago. I'm think I'm on the return trip now.
Anyway, the BongoH, as I'm calling it now, played and sounded like a dream. Our lead singer had a friend there that is a bass player and he sat in on a tune in the 3rd set so I got to sit out front and hear what it sounded like. WOW!!! What a great sound with the BongoH and the GK rig. Sits right in the mix and give plenty of bottom at the same time. From my perspective right in by the amp, I may like the sound of the flats a little better. But from out front, the sound of the round wounds sounds better to my ear. And out front is what it's all about anyway.
