I made a trip to Chuck Levin's (Washington Music Center) in Wheaton, MD this past weekend, and...

If you are looking for envy green (I think that's the color) with maple fingerboard and white (or pearloid maybe) pickguard, they have one with much mojo.

It's been hanging in the store for 5 or 6 years, it's not as clean and pretty as a brand new one, but it has incredible string action and feels like butter. I prefer rosewood fingerboards (and I'm not crazy about green), so I had to pass, but this thing is a real gem.

Correct, plus it most likely would have an abalone guard then,wouldnt it?

Just went to the "build an instrument" EB website to find something that's close. It looks like the translucent teal might be it. (I'm pretty sure there was wood grain present.)

How long have they been offering translucent teal?

The only "green" Sterling on their website is trans teal.

Trans teal has been around a long time. Thatd be my guess.
