Hey guys,

I normally use Regular Slinkies on my Morse. My local store was out. I bought a set of Skinny Top Heavy Bottom strings. anyone use those? When I play a 24.75" scale guitar, I use Power Slinkies; but I have never tried the STHB. Any thoughts?

I have them on my Silo. I was previously using Super Slinkies. The top strings are now perfect for me. The bottom strings are a little harder to bend but produce a darker, more powerful tone and more sustain which makes chords more balanced to me. And if you have a hardtail, you will find these perfect for downtuning. I've tried DADGBE and C#G#C#F#BE without issues, both sound killer. CGDGBE is a little sloppy but still playable.
