Hello There,

Legendary Rock guitarist Slash of Guns and Roses and Velvet Revolver has signed a Custom Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Super Sport. An online auction through EBAY went live yesterday 08/04/05. The guitar features an exotic veneer top, only available through a series of instruments signed by Slash, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and System of A Down.

All Proceeds from the guitar will benefit The Casey Lee Ball Foundation for pediatric kidney research at the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital.

A link to the online EBAY auction is here:

Enjoy,

I think Dargin or someone mentioned this a while back.

Slash does have an EBMM guitar or two, but he's not really known for playing them so much as his ever=present Les Paul.

However, he uses EB strings (Super Slinky, I think), and was kind enough to loan his celeb clout to the CLB foundation by signing that axe.

No, a REALLY cool one, like....well, Slash!

I mean, it's a verb!

Maybe I could be........Swipe! No, no, that's not quite it.

Fling! Mmm, no.

Puncture?

Bifurcate?

Somebody help me, I still have a hangover.

I've got your verb right here:

IMBIBE!

Bob Nyswonger plays those MIJ Specials, too.

I tried hard to convert that boy. Sent him a Bongo just because I love him.

I don't know what would have happened if he would have had any money.
