Mine sounds like crap, but it's not the guitar's fault.

The single coil and MM-90's sound great.

I use a glass slide from time to time, it sounds fine to me. The metal slides don't sound good at all on any make of guitar, if you use one just make sure to use a glass or bottle neck slide.

Thanks guys!

I previously used a metal slide, that wasn´t too nice sounding at all. I have a ceramic one now that I like and was just curious how do slides sound with EBMM`s. I use a slide pretty often when creating soundscapes with an ebow and a delay.

I quess I need to take my slide with me next time I go to a music store.

If I remember correctly, the strings on EBMM guitars are set up pretty low (stock settings)? Will this affect the tone?

It effects your technique, you have to be more careful not to hit the frets.

I use a slide very often and will only use glass. It sounds great on all of the EBMMs I've owned. I have two Axis SS guitars, one with MM90s the other with humbuckers. I used to have an AL with single coils as well. I played slide on all of the them and it sounded great.
