Slinky Classic Rock n' Roll Strings Vs. Regular Slinky Strings, What's the Difference

What is the difference between Slinky Classic Rock n' Roll Strings and regular Slinky strings. I know the wrap is pure nickel on the Rock n' Roll strings, but how does that make a difference?

Do they sound different?

Do they last longer?

Do they make the frets last longer?

I responded to this on your last thread!! Other than the composition of the wound strings are a tad different, there are some "tonal" differences as well (otherwise why make them.)

Also, if you read the literature on the pack, it goes into a little detail on this, e,g, in the early sixties EB developed the first Custom Gauges strings, being wound with PURE nickel - this is a reacpture of that string.

IMO: slightly warmer, fatter, softer, punchier, less presence, little less defined, little less edgier, little less brighter,

I was wondering if anyone had noticed any difference in the flexability of the two sets. Does one seem a little more stiffer than the other--or is the no difference whatsoever?
