for my super sport and dang... my Axis is gonna gather more dust now!!

When I got super sport the bridge wouldnt return to tune and was a bit stiff so I ignored it. I put it in for a setup with intention of being a hard tail for more variety than axis and keep axis for the aerobatics. However I decided to look the whammy bar out. I had never tried the bar after i had it setup. Damn tho i was havin so much fun abusing it and it was returning perfect... I think my axis is getting more jealous.
At least my axis has those pure single coil sounds (coil tapped) for me to grab it now and then hehe...

I'm playing my Super Sport more and more with the trem bar out....I'm really liking it. I might just block the trem flush against the body (it's floating now), and leave it that way.

I'm liking it because its a lot more subtle than the floyd.
Dontblock it off man, just tighten the springs, mine are pretty tight too but still works perfect.

The g and b string go slightly sharp and flat after some heavy use though. Any tips?
Its only minor I usually sort it on fly whilst playing though.

Actually Ive got a question...

I bought my ASS off ebay and it came with a tech receipt for a setup and a new nut.
Dunno why it needed one though.
Is the nut on the ASS a special one? compensated?

I could take some photos maybe u guys can tell.

I got some gunstock oil and wax the other day, been busy with it!!

I havin to rely on some american friends to hopefully come across one.
Ive got an 86 and an 87 quarter though. Pity theres no 84 one though that would have done, its also my birth year.

Thats just a little project of mine, its nowhere near finished yet.
Needs a bit beaten up still.

Stunning!! Congrats!

Pics of my Natural A.S.S. are in my profile if you want to check it out.

Lovely quilt on that man.
Im not keen on left handed guitars tho, was weird seeing that left handed axis. For a moment it reminded me of Joseph Merrick. :p

Haha...I'm used to it so I don't focus on it being backwards until someone mentions it. It plays like a dream regardless.
