Hello fellow EB players....been away from the forum. If I was thinking of getting one of those delish SR5HH models, what would you suggest as the best way to order? (If I decide to take the plunge) I won't go through MF just cause I like to know a bass person is handling my beauty before me, not some warehouse clerk. Suggestions?

Steve and Jack, Doug (bassplyr), and I know there are one or two more dealers who hang over on the geetar side.

Doug (Bassplyr) is a real nice guy also and I'm sure he'd take good care of you too.

Anyone mentioned in this thread as an EB sales person is my friend. Can't go wrong by having a new EB instrument ordered through any of them.

Have you ordered yet?

I'm so envious of you guys in the US. You have great music shops with all the different options to try and then you can go and order through Jack or Steve. I'm going to be visiting California (SF, Marin County and the wine regions aroung SLO) next year, so even if I fall in love with a Bongo, I will still have to buy it from the shop I find it in. It could have been adulterated from factory to shop to me. Oh to have a pure EBMM product.

Let me, phatduckk, and higher1 know when you hit town.

Have a pint or two, and try to point you in the right direction for a Bongo that's actually in *new* shape.

Yeah, I know exactly where you are coming from. I'm in the market for a Bongo 5. I'm going to California in May and am hoping to find one.I'll be in LA and also Vegas so should (hopefully) be able to sort myself out one way or another.

That is an exceedingly kind offer. I may just take you up on it.:)
