That is cool!

Mine is signed by Petrucci, Big Poppa, and Dudley Gimpel. No BS. I took the trem plate to the open house with me (a handful of us did that), and that's where I got the signatures.

But mine are on the inside of the cover. They're not for show, just for my own knowledge, and they won't get worn off by belt buckles that way.

I've got a drum head Mike Portnoy signed when I met him at a meet-and-greet in Orlando. Being a rabid Dream Theater fan, I drove two hours to stand in line for two more hours to meet him. Nice guy - he took time away from his life and his family to fly to Florida and sit in a music store shaking hands and signing things. I have a lot of respect for that. I talked to him about the Glass Prison & This Dying Soul, which are about something MP and I have in common - pretty cool.

I'd love to meet Petrucci. He did a clinic last year 3 miles from the housein Seminole I lived in at the time and I missed it, man was I fit to be tied! Maybe this year I'll know about the clinic schedule before they happen.

Every time they tour I hint to my wife about the Platinum packages. She like DT, but she doesn't get the obsessive fan thing the way I do.

Francric,

Thanks! Yeah, I thought "hey! have 'em sign the inside and it won't wear off!"

One of the few good thoughts I've had this year! ;)

Like I said, I didn't get the sigs to display them, I got them mainly to commemorate my trip to SLO.. another item in a big pile of great memories from that weekend. :D
