So, as you may have seen from my earlier post, I have a big outdoor gig on Saturday, and I'm debating whether or not to bring a second bass...
I hardly EVER break a string, and I know the odds of my Sterling failing are about the same as winning the lottery, but what do you guys do for a large gig? (Meaning that 5 minutes to change a string or trouble shoot an instrument is not an option.)
Other stablemates that could make the journey are a P-bass and an Epiphone T-Bird (that was formerly No.1 for gigging).
One thing to bear in mind is that switching from the Sterling to either of these passive instruments requires some serious re-setting of the amp...
I really want to minimize that stuff I have to set up and break down.
So whaddya think? Should I chance it?
