Is it a pool cavity? Is it modder fodder? Are they compatible with ebmm pickguards?

Make with the revealing pics!

This might be off topic, but I got to play one today while I was auditioning amps. The quality is good, and the price is nice.

There is no comparison, however, to the real deal. The EBMM instruments just feel and sound better. This isn't meant to be a slam at the Sterling line, which is not intended to compete with EBMM, so it's not a fair comparison. The body shape and headstock are copies of the Silhouette, but the parts used are cheaper. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Again, I'm not criticizing the line; it is what it is.

But it felt solid, and there were no issues with the setup, frets, neck, etc. It said "Made in Indonesia", and there was a sticker on it that said something like "Setup and Inspected in California."

If I were looking for something in its price range, the Sterling line would be my first choice.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to remove the pickguard and gaze at its innards.

at the optometrist. Apparently the x-ray part of his vision sputtered out and has left us waiting and twiddling our thumbs...

Why not just contact Pat and ask him?
I am pretty sure it will be swimming pool routed like the silhouette.
Swimming pool is also easier to route i expect.

well, maybe, but since the routing is all done by CNC equipment these days, the swimming pool rout is probably more involved as it takes more material off the guitar body... the EBMM Silo swimming pool pickup cavity rout isn't like the simplistic F*nder swimming pool rout with the smooth sides...however the SBMM Silo 20 could very well have a simple swimming pool rout....that's why we need the man with the x-ray eyes...
