Hmm. Maybe I should put that deposit down on that Axis in Blue Dawn. Or do I want a JP? Or a AL? Man I'm confused. I have to give Pete a call and get my mind made up. I definitely need a 2007 LE.

is that gonna be the cutoff for BFR's???

I don't want to step on any toes, but I think I remember BP saying if you were going to order an LE, to make up your mind by around June.
Right now backorders are through July, so it does look like June might be the cutoff date if orders keep goin like they are -- but that has not been set in stone yet :)

People shouldn't be waiting until the last minute anyways!

So how does one "order" a guitar like that? Do you go to your local dealer and place an order? Is there any price advantage of going to one dealer or another?

Yeah. You just go to the dealer of your choice, and you order the thing the way you want it. I assume that some dealers will quote you lower prices than others. I assume that some dealers will know less about the product than others. I assume that most dealers will know less about the product than you or we here on the forum except for the dealers on the forum who probably are your most knowledgeable dealers. Dealers who are regular forum readers and posters will probably be your best bet with regards to knowledge about the products.

I have only dealt with Pete and Nick DuBaldo. So, I can't tell you about any experiences I have had with other dealers who are regulars on the forum. I'm sure many of them, if not all, are great to deal with. Their prices are fair, and the service is great. So, I don't really care what the other dealers charge relative to what they charge.
