Sold a Luke to buy a Morse and....

Ended up with another Luke
Long story short I ordered a blue pearl luke in march and picked it up in july.While I was waiting for the luke I started getting gas for an smy2d morse.I ended up selling the blue luke to Mikeller to finance the morse.I almost ordered the smy2d that was at Dubaldo's but I saw a pearl white luke with matching headstock on the site and decided to go with it instead.I may order a morse in the next few months...we'll see. My camera is acting up so I'm using a pic from Dubaldo's muisc.Anyway....here it is folks

That's crazy man! I did the same thing except I actually GOT the Y2D that was at Pete's store. I ordered a Sapphire Black LUKE around March which was gonna be my 25th b-day present. I got it in July...loved the guitar, but all of a sudden I literally became possessed by the Y2D I saw at Pete's store and did a trade-in 1 month after I got the guitar that I waited for over 3 months hahahaha. The thing is I couldn't be happier! I absolutely love the Morse...and I'm glad you didn't get it hehe.

BTW congrats on the LUKE again...and thanks for not buying that Y2D LOL.

Yup it's funny how things like this work themselves out.I've actually decided to order a standard morse instead of the y2d. I think the extra p/up will be great for recording and give one more tonal option.

Ya congrats gtrman, that is a beautiful Luke. I have a feeling that you'll still get your Y2D in the near future. Once the Morse bites, there is no shaking it off. Wicked guitars they are.

Just goes to show how dangerous it can be to look at Pete's site, eh? I eyed that Luke for a while, but my will power held up.

You guys should seriously take a look at the one I returned back to Pete. That is such an amazing LUKE and almost the opposite of the white pearl...Dean, I think it would be perfect for you hehe. The white pearl is definitely classy though! I still find it very funny that it turned out this way, and you ended up with another LUKE.

It's also crazy that this is the second LUKE I let go to get another Ball that I am very happy with...especially the Y2D. gtrman66, you should still look into the Y2D because it is absolutely killer...I will go as far as say that it is even more versatile than the LUKE!

Congrats on the new Luke, and White with a rose wood board just screams class on a guitar. Everyone came up a winner on this one as the top on Robs Y2D is just off the chart, and I know how bad he wanted that ax.
