Between playing in bands, I have recorded some guitar solo pieces.
Much og the playing have been on a EBMM Axis, so I tought you guys might be interested to have a listen:)

Here is the tracks(Listen/Download):
NRK Urørt - Sevrin Gjerde

Here is a picture of the Axis. It is modded with a coilsplit via a push/pull on the volume control:

Very nice work..... I'm listening to Till Dannmark now..... Really nice!

My Axis is setup the exact same way with a coil split. Now if only I could play like you do.....

Thanks. I love my Axis. With the coil split I can use it for anything.

Nice tracks. Very tasteful playing. I'm glad to hear the Axis being used as mine will be here on Wed of this week. I will post pictures and my first impressions ASAP.

Question: How are you splitting the coil, I mean is it in the volume pot or a switch?

Push-pull volume pot (500k audio taper). Ground the twisted pairs from the centers of each hum...one on each side with the center of each switch pole to ground. Pretty easy mod and opens up the sounds in the guitar.

Excellent info. I may give it go... after I get to know my new Axis. Thanks.

hey I like that !!!!!!

when using a guitar for playing something else than what it is supposed to do :p

When you think Axis most people will think Shred yours sounds Jazz, Clean and with a bit or Larry Carlton influence (though Carlton used and EVH on one of his album)

Congrats

To Jack FFR1846, Having_A_Ball, sixtyfour, mikeller, straycat113,
and threeminutesboy: Thank you for your nice comments.
To everyone else: thanks for listening. This seems like a nice place.:)

I have played telecasters for ten years, but changed main guitar when i picked up the axis. It got a sports car feeling to it: it is accurate, responsive, fast, and got a glorious sound
