Those are some sweet pickups! Totally agree wit'cha.

I was always a "swap in new pickups" kinda a guy, but since I've been hooked on EBMMs, I find the stock pickups are pretty much a perfect fit to each guitar.

And who cares if it's a crap thread. I recall several pages devoted to toilet jokes a while back ...

And whether or not you get a custom signature model or not. :D

I agree.

Recently I find myself switching to the neck pickup (JP6) more and more often, particularly when playing up around the 15th to 19th fret area as I seem to a lot.

Bridge pickup seems to cut my head off these days (as my hearing goes) when playing up the neck.

Nice beefy lead sound with a dash of reverb covers a whole multitude of fluffs and errors I find!:)

I'm not that evolved of a player (regardless of not have an EBMM yet!).

Are you talking about selecting pusps for the solos? or amp settings via pedals etc.?

I like the Bridge pup for stuff close to the nut.
I like the Neck pup for stuff close to the Pups.
Both to add a little somethin' somethin' to where ever I am.
