Please allow me to offer my condolences as well. Many of my father's aunts/uncles, as well as both of their parents, died of parkinson's, so I am familiar with what it is.

Let us all observe a moment of silence the next time we pick up our guitars, as a tribute to all who have suffered from this disease.

I lost my Dad far too soon from a drawn out illness.
I think about him a lot even after all this time.
Cherish your grand dads memory and think about the good times.
