Good luck finding a control cavity cover and neck plate... not to mention the neck...

My real concern with this is, where did the body come from? They have none of the hardware, and it has a finish crack in the neck pocket, so did they somehow get their hands on a warranty repair body?

Someone out there has a guitar with a badly damaged body, this will be useful to them. What's so strange about this ??

That is my point exactly - but I didn't want to point the finger straight away.

He Was Probably Jammin Some Overkill, Got A Little Out Of Control And Broke The Headstock Off...:d

This was my initial thought... 'cause i don't see the neck anywhere... i mean it beats not getting any money for it i guess...

Speaking of body parts...

I snooped around when I saw this on the Bay a few days ago, because had he have posted the tremolo for sale; I'd have niffed it in a second. My guess is that he did in fact get a new body from someone in Las Vegas. I would safely imagine that if he was simply gutting a guitar and selling it for parts, the rest of the parts would be present; yet they are not. Methinks there's a mystery foot... to the Mystery Machine gang!
