Some GC Clearance Basses (Pics and Pricing Inside)

Here are some of the basses on clearance at my local GC. I know I have heard horror stories about the condition of basses at GC, but amazingly, even though most of these are old stock, they are in pretty great condition. A few light scratches, maybe some scratches on the pickguard, that sort of thing. I didn't thoroughly go over them tonight, but I will tomorrow if asked about specific ones, but thus far, I've mainly just seen the pickguard scratches. Some of them even have the protective film still on the pickguards. They are still considered new and are under warranty. Sorry for my lousy pics, any weird spots are either lighting, or smudges. Tried to squeeze these photos in after closing so I didn't get a chance to polish them up yet. I will polish them before they go in a case to you though!!! PRICES INCLUDE HARDSHELL CASE! PM if you have questions. FOR US RESIDENTS! I can ship these to your door. If you have GC credit Card I can get you 12 months no interest no payment!

BFR RW neck SOLD!

Cherryburst Stingray 5 HS, Black PG, Maple Neck. I did look this one over and played it for a few minutes. Scratches on pickguard, but the body was in very nice shape. $1121.99

Someone should jump on that sr5 with the rosewood neck. These babies are absolutely killer. If i was not living on the other side of the moon and already owned one i would grab it....

That 5 string with rw neck looks killer!
Get a new pg on it, polish it a bit and it's like new!

Prices added. I know BP said I could do it, my manager just wanted me to play it safe, but I've thrown caution to the wind! Let's find these beauts some homes! I need a bigger PM Inbox...

Natural HS 4... That's a bass that could just stick around with you awhile. Sublte beauty with versatility.

Ok, maybe I shouldn't post right after watching project runway...

Anyways, yeah, preferred player card-12 months no interest or payments. Not a bad deal at all...

I was at the GC in Lawndale, CA yesterday, and there were two other SR5s (1H & 2H) in great shape for similar prices. (The 1H was actually $999).

BTW, I got some EB strap locks yesterday. They were $25, but they only rang me up for $20 + tax. Good deal!

I have to comment that these prices are amazing. You are essentially getting a new bass with case and warranty for a used price.

I am going to use all my willpower and stay away from GC

Thank you for buying that bass. I almost got in trouble with that one a few months ago. It played great back in June. Excellent score.

Big D Thanks!

Thank you BP for making the best tools a musician could axe for. I'm sorry I couldn't hang and chat w/ you more...my wife and daughter both had the H1N1 thing, and I had to get back to AZ to help out...Nice job ripping it up at BPL (with a burned hand nonetheless!!) You are a way better musician than you give yourself credit for!!!

Forumites, send me mojo and positive thoughts for a friend who is torn between a (lefty) SR4 H egyptian smoke, and a g&l 2500. I'm working him...hard...(friends don't let friends play anything but EBMM's), but he seems to like the idea of Leo's legacy...I really want to welcome him to the addiction (in Koogs eloquent words!) Thanks again Rex, Zombie, BP (and Koogie) -Capt. Don
