I don't usually like flash photography of basses, but it helped show the color.

Without flash, it still looks pretty!

The sun kept popping in and out. (I know, not literally, or we wouldn't still be here.)

How about that for a pickguard on Rolls Burgundy?

If you like it, it was my idea. If not, Ben thought it up.

Am I taking the same photo over and over now?

Obligatory headstock shots.

Beautiful photos, Jack. Not only do they convey accurate color, but the way the light follows the curved shapes *SIGH* I'm in love all over again.

Very nice Jack! The blue pearl is growing on me, especially with the MOTS, and the abalone looks great on the rolls burgandy.

I still want to see a new family shot!

You officially win the award for best pic of a Rolls Burgundy instrument. Congrats, aren't you glad to know you finally amounted to something Jack?

Yeah, me too - it's just getting them all out of the cases at the same time....when no one else is home, because they will make fun of me.

And thanks, Paul - but Aussie Mark took a right nice shot of his rolls bass, too.

He'll show you if you ask nicely.

The bass coule be,
A. elegant, backing a female in a country band
B. mean in a rock band
C. dark so it doesnt completely stick out on a dark stage.

Mmm they are both tasty, but I really like the Blue Pearl!

Do all Bongos come with those half-crescent fret markers? They are funky! (I'm gonna laughed at now for using the word "funky" aren't I?) :D
