Thanks guys, these pics give a better idea of what they look like in person, now you know why my jaw dropped when I saw them at the clinic.

ok, one question: there was a lot of talking about, that the JP-BFR necks are finished because the mahogany can´t be unfinished for some reasons I don´t remember.

But the neck on the following pic looks very unfinished. Can someone comment this, knows more? It looks a bit like rosewood?

That's because it IS Rosewood!!! It's absolutely amazing. Great score Ernie. It was great seeing them in person and having JP play themm all was great too.

Ernie, you're incredible, man. It's only right that you end up with these guitars if JP doesn't, if EBMM doesn't keep them for themselves, and if none of the other forumites don't get their hands on them. Glad they're staying in the family.
