Brazil - Locked @ studio
These tunes were recorded in 2001 in other studio in my city.

Is a CD with 13 tracks.

We won one kind of Battle Of Bands in our country that gave us some money, TV shows, gigs in another state and some kind of media in broadcast.

Everything recorded analog = no edits.

Used one Amek Angela Console, Otari MK III 2" 24 tracks, Pre Avalon 737, some LA2A, LA3A, Lexicon 480 and a lot of outboards gear.

That same Pearl Prestige Select, Ibanez Jem and Fernandes, Bass Collection, Jazzbass '68, Marshall 5275 '86, GK400 4x10, Peavey Classic 30, POD 2.0.
We used turntable and a sampler Akai S2000 to start samplers "in hand".

The bass was recordes sometimes in an GK, sometimes direct into 737, and sometimes into 737 to one active Genelec 600 watts

Wasn't masterized, just one TC Electronics Finalizer 96k before DAT to add a little punch.

It's a kind o funk + hard rock + hip hop.

The band is ofline now too, but was called Kuringa.

Me @ guitars.
Humberto @ drums
Leo Quintao @ bass
Marco Antonio @ vocals
Gersonics @ DJ

Enjoy and post comments

Luiz- these are great! Love your stuff. Really enjoyed Bomba, though I have no idea what the singer is saying
