Which bass rig is yours? The Ampeg or the Eden cab? I couldn't tell what amp you were pushing the Eden with.

My rig is the Eden D210XLT and the Ashdown ABM500 EVO II. The other rig, the Tech21 Landmark 300 + Ampeg 4x10 + Ampeg 1x15, belongs to one of the other bands who played the festival.

great photograph! and angle

Yeah! That's because it was taken by a pro photographer with pro equipment. He shoots a lot of the events we put on at the student village where I live. He's also cool enough to put a small collection on the web for all to enjoy. :)

What kind of music do you play?

With TOB (The Other Band), we do all sorts of rock covers. Here's the setlist from our last gig (the outdoor festival where the photo is from):

Jackass-intro
Rebel Yell
Øl! (norwegian song, translates to "Beer!")
Noen å hate (another norwegian song by Raga Rockers, translates to: "Somebody to hate")
Basket Case
ShagmaCop (instrumental medly made from the theme from an old kids TV show called "Shagma, the journy to the center of the earth" and the "Robocop" theme.)
Enter Sandman
Dirty Magic
Killing in the Name

With Bad Dreams, we do covers of 80's hard rock and metal. Here's the setlist from our last gig:

Living After Midnight
Riot Act
Over The Hills And Far Away
Piece Of Me
Black Night
Lick It Up
Here I Go Again
Reggae improv.
Rock The Night
Paranoid
You Shook Me All Night Long
You Give Love A Bad Name
Crazy Train
Postmann Pat theme
Sweet Child O' Mine

what do those string sound like? i wanted to try some but i went with the slinkys instead

They sound pretty nice. They have a lot of mids, and they're not as harsh in the top end as Elixirs. After some use they go kinda mellow, but retain a decent punch. Just try a pair, and you'll find out if they suit you. I'm taking mine off today btw. I'm putting on a set of Fodera Diamond Series stainless steel strings.

RothSR5,
What's the color of your SR5? Is it Desert Gold?

No, it's a very dark natural. Haven't seen many others that are this dark though, but I love it!

Well, it works very well as a sing-a-long tune at some gigs. Since this gig was for mostly students, and all of us grew up watching Pat on the TV everybody knows that song. Other then that, it just adds some comedy to the set. As you might already have guessed, we don't take ourselves seriously at all. BTW, the reggae improv was thrown in because someone in the crowd shouted: "Play some reggae!" between songs. Of course we had to give the people what they wanted. :D
