I have a prs custom 24 with the rosewood Fretboard.

1. When should I use the "Wonder Wipes Fretboard Conditioner" for my fretboard? The music store salesman told me that I should use them when the rosewood fretboard turn lighter in color. But I am not sure my guitar fretboard color is light or not.

2. How frequent should I use the "Wonder Wipes Fretboard Conditioner"? If I use it frequently, would it hurt the fretboard. My friend uses it every time when changing the guitar strings.

3. Can I use the "Ernie ball Wonder Wipes Fretboard Conditioner" to clean the frets? Would it make the frets become rusty?

My experience tells me that you can use them as frequently as necessary to maintain a clean neck. My guitars are hanging on a wall, so they tend to dry up a little more than I would expect if they were in a case. I use wonder wipes at every string change interval. Rosewood seems to suck up the oil a bit more than maple, and I've seen no adverse effect on fret condition. I hope this helps.

I use em' at every string change. I apply firmly to fretboard to clean and shine....let sit for a minute or so and wipe away the excess leaving a beautiful dark looking fretboard every time!

Same here...exactly. I lightly apply with each string change and use a clean cotton cloth to remove the excess after a minute or so. I can not imagine it being use to clean the frets however. If your frets are dull - I have had good luck with Planet Waves Fret Polishing System | GuitarCenter for light polishing.
