I was looking at that instrument recently, though I have nowhere near enough money to buy it.

Do all EVH/Axis models have such a visible "joint" between the headstock and neck? There seems to be a sort of step there, like the headstock and neck are two different pieces of wood.

It is soooooo cool to see all the EBMM's in their different colors and tops. Each one has it's own identity. AWESOME! :cool:

It's just because the headstock is finished and the neck is not - the neck gets dirty and a line forms where the finish begins - exactly the same on my EVH (although not quite as dirty as that). Great looking guitar,
