Their pricing is wayyyyyyyyyy out of hand.
Every time I've called them for something, their prices are at least a few hundred more from everyone else.
Come on $
for a SS....LOL LOL LOL LOL

OK this may seem like a stupid question, but is this the first of its' kind? My brother has a Hagstrom and I swear it looks like it has a rosewood body, but I could be wrong...it is a heavy sucker though...

It's not. PRS had made guitars with solid rosewood necks in the past, curretly they make 513 and Modern Eagle that way. There was also a picture posted here on the board of EVH signature MM with rosewood neck and top. If I understand correctly, those were very rare, and now EBMM is reissuing them. That's my take at it, but I may be wrong.

That's purdy!

If that were Canadian dollars, I do not find that price out of hand.
A PET goes for around $ give or take some.

I'd buy it!

Fender were the first with an all rosewood guitar, afaik - they made a rosewood Tele for George Harrison that went into production for a year or two (and is renowned as a heavy weight guitar). George is playing it in the apple rooftop concert they filmed during the Let It Be sessions.

Don't recall seeing any EVH in Rosewood. I know the Rosewood Axis was introduced this year at NAMM and later anounced as a production instrument, but I believed it was an original. If there was a Rosewood EVH, I'd wager it was a one-off (there's a few bizarre one-off EVHs out there, including a dano-double-neck). Anyone else know of a Rosewood EVH?

This is the thread I was reffering to http://www.ernieball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7175&highlight=rosewood
You can't see if it's a EVH or Axis on the headstock, but knob placement suggests it's an Axis, so you're probably right.

The Rosewood Axis is not a reissue of anything. It is the first ime the company has done this. There may have been some EVH's with a rosewood fretboard(there were some early Axis like that) but not a rosewwod top.

Ya, that thread is talking about the NAMM guitar from Jan 2005. It says "Wolfgang Registry" on the pics 'cause that's who took and hosted 'em, but there's no relationship between the old EVH sig and the Rosewood Axis...

That Rosewood neck is an absolute thing of beauty!
