I have a bongo 5 HH, and at a show Sunday night something happened when I plugged into the system. My volume knob was giving some really bad hum, and after checking grounding issues with the DI, switching amps and cabs with nothing helping, I notice that one of the batteries in my EQ was super hot. I'm thinking there's a short in the wiring somewhere, but I can't see anything in the board that's burned out or anything. Just wondering if anyone has seen/experienced anything like this before and if anyone has any suggestions on what to do. I hate to see my baby hurting like this....

thanks

If not installed backwards a hot battery is likely being rapidly drained due to a short. Don't do any further anything or plug in a cable until you contact C/S.
