Which song hits your emotions strongly? Is there a song that can make you cry?
A song that hit me real good was Phil Collins 'Another Day in Paradise.

I know this sounds weird but the Hoobastank song "the reason" grabs me. I love the way the simple bass line drives the entire song.

And I'm not a huge Flea fan, hes great, but the fact that hes in or on EVERY bass magazine under the sun every month bothers me. Anyway, his bass line on "under the bridge" moves me and has since the first time I heard it.

One more great one is Stings upright line on the Polices "every breath you take" grabs at my emotions pretty hard.

"If you leave me now" & "Wishing you where here" - Chicago
Makes me appreciate and want to hug my wife :)

"She's Leaving Home" - Beatles
Just hits me in the heart.

"Cisco kid" & "Low rider" - War
Reminds me of cruising around town with my best friend as a teen. He's passed away now, but, I still think of the best friend I ever had :(

"A Girl Like You" & "Strangers when we meet" - The Smithereens
The first one I heard while driving one day, turned my car around and went to the record store and got that CD!! The last one I use to torture myself with for a love I had to give up

Now, I'm feeling kinda blue :(

any Christmas carol sung by the Chipmunks.

There is something so melancholy about the sound of their harmonies..... makes me weep instantly

I don't know if this counts...

Every time I here that punk-rock, hardcore crap - I feel the need to get extremely violent. Does that count??

I thought it was just me. The number of nights I used to lie in bed in the pitch dark (no smutty comments please) listening to that track from the "Bring on the Night" live Album - It wasn't on the UK version of Nothing like the Sun, but another one of mine that is on that album is "They Dance Alone".

Also,

"In My Life" by the Beatles.

"The Unforgettable Fire" U2, the single from the Album of the same name.

And if I hear anything from the years 1978 and 1979, I get all nostalgic - It must have been the first years I first really got into music and it brings back all the memories of being a kid.
