1. Pretty much anything off the Jeff Buckley album "Grace"
2. The Beatles "the long and winding road"
3. Stevie Ray Vaughan's version of "Little Wing"

the list goes on and on, but that's all I can think of right now.

While I know most of the songs that you mentioned there quite a few I haven't heard of and from their titles they seem very promising.....
My list is long as well but I mentioned the Phil Collins song because I bought it a couple of days ago. This beautiful melody together with the very sad lyrics had a very big effect on me. It really makes me appreciate what I've got and stop complaining for not having more. It makes me more sensitive in social matters. It makes me praise God for what I have.

As for love songs that move me......well....there are quite a few and the reasons that they move me are several.

Amen, Brother! You usually don't have to look to far to find someone who has it worse than you do. Very humbling. God Bless Ya!

"In My Life" by the Beatles.

I saw the Bootleg Beatles last year and they did this live with the harspichord part and all (via a yam keyboard hidden in a white grand piano shell).

If you ever get the chance to see this lot, do it!
