Sounds like a stupid question, but...

I'm really clueless about this. What is the Rosewood Axis body made of? I know the neck and fretbard are Rosewood, and the Body apparently has a RW top. If it's just a top, what's the rest made off? Bassdoow? Mahogany? Maple?

If I am correct, the body is basswood. The top is rosewood, the neck is rosewood.

I believe the Axis and ASS with hums has a basswood body, and the ASS with MM90s has an ash body.

All great guitars (had or have one of each), but the rosewood strings are hard to bend.

I had to switch from rosewood strings, to many splinters.

The case is a solid block of rosewood that has been hollowed out to put a guitar in it.....and they used the wood out of the case to make the strings....and the rosewood pickups....and....okay, that's enough.

The rosewood strings (woodies) can get a bit tough on the fingers.

Some nights I start out with stiff Power Woodie 12's but by the end of hours of long hard playing, dealing with the much more bendable Extra Slinky 8's
