So the main reasons why I can't get my hands on a brand new Blue Dawn or that freak'n amazing Burnt apple is

1. There aren't enough orders
2. Difficult to shoot
3. The sprayers are difficult to get completely clean

So, how 'bout this? I know there are many here who have no problem shelling out the extra $$$ for these finishes and many here have waited in excess of 5-6 months for delivery of there special order MM with the standard finishes. Now if EB took orders for say a month and did a once a year run of the sparkles they would get one large order and it could be done over a months time clean all the guns and take orders for the next year, everyones happy

Me likey....but I doubt it will change anything.

Just something we gotta live with. :(

Good thinking tho.

By the way...anyone know how often EBMM introduces new colours, and do they do it in batches or one at a time? Like discontinue 1-5 and introduce 1-5 new ones? Howzit done?

Sapphireskiss, here's is a couple of Axes in Blue Dawn if you are interested. I an Axis Sport and it is so sweet and I kind of prefer it over the Super Sport. The differences are no cream binding and solid black pickups instead of the zebra black and white pickups.

I've never bought from these guys, but the guitar looks like it's NOS.

I'm pretty sure that Royal Music in New York still has at least 1 Blue Dawn Axis or Super Sport, but my experience with them was that great and they are firm on their prices.

Hope this helps, Glenn |B)
