I raced home from work today, because the man from UPS dropped this off today.

Burnt Apple Sparkle Axis, with matching headstock. maple neck with a few spattered birdeyes.

I do need to do some setup work on the trem. for one, the arm is loose, so I need to break out the loc-tite. Second, the previous owner had it setup to float a little. The trem is sitting just barely above the body, enough to bend up maybe 1/4-1/2 step. I need that set flat on the body.

She's a beauty Tony! Where'd you get her?

I grabbed it on eBay a week or two ago. Felt like I got a fairly good deal on it, esp in the condition it's in. There's just a couple of scratches on the back (buckle rash or the like), otherwise, it's flawless.

How rare/rareish are the Burnt Apple Sparkles? This one is the first Axis I've seen in this color, and I know they were bound to have made more.

Hi Tony,

That's a Beautiful Axis there!... I just recently played one at the local dealer shop and it felt great!

Gotta love 'em...
