Hi Guys,
I have a late 88 model Steve Morse model and was wondering
if anybody knew the type of rosewood used for the fingerboards
at that time, it is a very dark brown colour almost purple
with irregular black streaks. It feels very smooth and waxy.
It appears to be brazilian or madagascar rosewood but it's
difficult to tell because they both look similar, anybody have any ideas ?
Regards,
Sam
