...and it totally rocks! I got together with my two guitar players from Railhead and we had a practice session tonight. The GP Bongo kicked some serious booty. Not only does it sound fantastic, it's so much lighter than either of my HH Bongos.

I'm going to leave the slinkys on it for a little while. It's been a long time since I regularly played a bass with round wounds on it and, like Jack when he got his single H, I really enjoyed the sound. I was playing through my practice rig tonight. Saturday I'll gig with it through the GK gig rig. I think I will use it for the primary bass and keep the BC HH Bongo in my back pocket for this gig.

Thanks again Shamus! I didn't know what I was missing. :)

Isn't the singleH somethin' else?

Definitely with you on feeling lighter. was pleasantly surprised by how much more my shoulder loved after wearing one for a half hour practice session.

Glad you like. :)

I know I keep repeating myself but I have gigged with all of them...(ok bullspit I dont gig but 4 times a year) but I have used most of them I love all of them especially the Sterling HS, but the Bongo single h is the one that I know that I can pulloff a gig with the monsters that i seem to coerce into playing with me and never strugggle for a sound....so much is about knowing that the bass is gonna be there for you. I don't usually change the EQ that radically. I just try to find the right slot for the room and then adjust based on the songs...... Im so happy to hear you guys getting what I have been saying re the single H bongo......

I'm rambling but you're playing a gig you think about a note hit the note and it is so big and solid....so tight that you end up playing around that sound.....Yeah baby!

OK I know it sounds like Sedona crystals but it is my life baby!

What a wonderful life you have! I'm on board, I love my single H Bongo. I think I will still keep at least one of my HH Bongos - those are pretty damn nice too.

Keep making fantastic instruments and I'll keep buying them. :)

Great way to explain it. The note is just THERE. Creates other opportunities.

When you guys are right, you're right!

The only single H I played before buying this one was Little Horse's MG fretless. Although I couldn't play if for crap, I heard how good it sounded and remembered how good BP's sounded in SLO. But in my mind, I credited BP's sound more to the player than the bass. I guess I was partially right. ;)

I can't wait to really put it through it's paces this Saturday.
