Greetings all!
Just got my hands on a teal SR5 with birds eye maple neck and black pickguard, so of course I wanna know when it was built....
The serial number on the bridge is: 52329
I just checked Gav's database and this places my new bass around the 91-92 period. The guy I bought it from (in Holland) reckons he bought it in Germany in '93.
I will post pics when I get around to taking 'em... Actually I might even do a 'family portrait' with the 5 banger alongside my '83 Cutlass I and 'Frankenstein' Stingray (I call it that cos no-one really knows when it was built - estimates range between '79 and '81...)
