SR5 HH wiring - series or parallel with new alnico pickups?

Just curious if they changed to a parallel wiring when the switch was made back to alnico. Now that I have a Sterling 5 HH, i'm wondering if I need a complementing SR5HH. a completely different wiring scheme would certainly help justify that "need".

SR5 HH is all parallel wiring. And yes, you should compliment the Sterling HH with a new SR5 HH, no justification needed!

While your at it, the Bongo and the Big Al SSS both have neodymium magnets. Those will compliment your Sterling and Stingray quite nicely.

And the Big Al H has a pickup with the best of all worlds, it is probably necessary to get one of those too.
