SR5 Neck Differences?

Hey Everyone,
I could be totally wrong here, but I have 2 SR5's that are early nineties (No comp. Nut), and just recently I checked out a couple of Newer SR5's a couple of the dual pickup models in my local store and a friends that he ordered from musicians friend (all had compensated nuts) Are the necks on the newer SR5's Slimmer?
Maybe im on crack....
Any info would be appreciated as I am looking into buying a new SR.

I can't speak for the SR5's but I've noticed the headstock on my SR4 (with compensated nut) is thicker (deeper) than that on my 1989 SR4.
