I've been using my Bongo5 now for just over a year.
Gigging it all the time. I'm still coming up with new tones, but have some favorites.
I will not use any thing else. You could say I was sold on the Bongo5.
It is such a great Bass.

Now I am contemplating a Desert Gold Bongo...

As far as comments go I can never leave a gig on the without someone making a comment on its looks and sound.
To me that also speaks volumes for the Bongo.:D

Regards

I'm so tempted to rip those flats off and put on a new set of Super Slinky 5s on the Bongo but everytime I think about it I remember how much the flats cost me.

That's a perfect reason to buy a new Bongo right? ;)

Absolutely! This is how/why I came to the decision to buy a 2nd Bongo - one for rounds & one for flats.

I have the same situation. I switch between my SR5 and my Bongo5 every few months and every time I switch, it feels like I've brought home a new instrument. I fall in love all over again. Trust me, it's more of a blessing than a curse.

Amen, Brother!

Same with me. SR5 and Bongo 5... both awesome!
